10:10 New commute

So Electric Cloud outgrew its old digs in Mountain View and moved... to a spot in Sunnyvale about a mile from Maine Coon Manor. I’m commuting on foot these days.

Wow! Congrats!

I remember when my old company SCM did that same thing to me. It is really sweet! You can go home for lunch and not fight traffic.

YAY!

Any good lunch spots halfway between? There are plenty of eateries on Mathilda Avenue...

I don't know Mathilda well, except nearby Murphy Avenue. Of course, if we pick something a bit outside walking range, I could swing by and pick you up.

Sure. We just need to coordinate with [info]obsessivewoman on when she gets back on the train...

BF mentioned that last night. I'd completely forgotten that the office move had already happened.

I'm so very jealous of his short commute.

And I'm sure your heart breaks because of it, too. :)

I get to add ten miles a week to my exercise program at no cost in time... the only annoyance is the amount of vehicle exhaust I get to breathe while walking down Mathilda Avenue.

That's too cool! Nice to be able to walk to work.

By the way, my company is hiring for some positions in San Mateo if you know any PHP developers or marketing types who are job-hunting:
